Legacy Comix Announces ‘KROOM: redux’
Legacy Comix is proud to announce “KROOM: redux’ a brand new edition of the KROOM #0 ashcan, featuring brand new art by artist Bellaizza and writing and letters by series creator Patrick Hickey Jr.
The series will be made available in a limited edition physical version, as well as digitally and in trading card digital comix edition this Winter. Stay tuned for Pre-Order information.
In addition, anyone who ordered the original KROOM #0 from the Legacy Comix Kickstarter, or at a signing or on the Legacy Comix website, will be entitled to one free digital download of the book.
“The original version of KROOM was not up to the standard that we wish all of our books to have,” Legacy Comix Editor-In-Chief Patrick Hickey Jr. said. “Our readers spoke out on social media stating that the character design and story had so much potential, but the sequential art did not serve it properly. As a result, we embarked on a mission to find an artist to give this ashcan the love it deserved. Add in new lettering, some additional dialogue and that sexy new art and this is the KROOM our readers deserved in the first-place. We hope that everyone who experienced it originally grabs their complimentary new version and that new readers, who skipped it when it was originally released, experience it now.”
After the release of KROOM: redux, the original KROOM #0 ashcan will no longer be available on the Legacy Comix website, in either physical or digital format, or at signings, so make sure you grab this piece of Legacy history while supplies last.
“In an effort to raise our standards and build consumer confidence, the original KROOM ashcan will be retired,” Hickey added. “The series deserves to be pushed and developed the same way as our other titles, the first step to that is removing a version that didn’t live up to the standards this company has strived for since Day One.”
