Patrick Hickey Jr. is a full-time Lecturer of English and Assistant Director of the Journalism program at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, NY and is the Chairman of the City University of New York Journalism Discipline Council.

Away from academia, Hickey is the Founder and Editor-In-Chief of ReviewFix.com and a Senior Writer at Old School Gamer Magazine. Over the course of his 15 years as a journalist, he’s been published in The New York Times, New York Daily News and over 35 other publications online and in-print.

He’s also a former News Editor at NBC Local Integrated Media and National Video Games Writer at Examiner.com and had his work mentioned in National Ad campaigns by Disney, Nintendo and EA Sports.

Hickey is the author of The Minds Behind the Games book series from McFarland and Company (which currently sit at the libraries at Harvard, NYU, Stanford, UVLA, Yale and over 100 more universities worldwide)and three series from Legacy, Condrey, The Job and KROOM. He is also an accomplished voice-actor, starring in The Padre video game series from Feardemic, as well as several other indie games currently available on Steam.

Kieran X. Quinn is an upstate born and Brooklyn based Artist/Illustrator.

Pencil and Ink are his fortes, but the challenge of working with different mediums are what drives him as an artist.

His creative prowess has led him to work on many projects from costuming, to model making, and ultimately comic book illustration.

Creator, Writer, The Legend of the Night Owl

Afrim Gjonbalaj is a native New Yorker of Albanian descent, born and raised in Brooklyn. Afrim grew up reading comics, dreaming of time travel and science fiction while watching every Martial Arts, Horror and Anime film he could find on bootleg VHS tapes at corner stores and bodegas.

As an Actor, Afrim received his B.A. in Theater with a concentration in Acting from Buffalo State College in 2006 as a member of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP).  As a member of SAG-AFTRA/AEA, Afrim has been seen on Ramy (Hulu), Daredevil (Netflix), The Blacklist: Redemption (NBC) and many more screen and stage projects. As a writer, you can find his comic, The Legend of the Night Owl, based on his mother being an “Albanian Muslim crime fighter addicted to Coffee, with a shadowy past” over at LegacyComix.com. Afrim is currently working toward his MFA at the David Lynch Screenwriting program at Maharishi International University.

Chris Booth

Artist, Young Condrey, Door Slash

Chris Booth is an award winning actor, writer, and illustrator whose work has been seen Off-Broadway, on Comedy Central, Disney +, and heard on NPR.

He has headlined the Denver Improv Festival, the Miami Improv Festival and the Montreal Comedy Festival and his solo shows The System, The Bowhead Whale, and KaBOOM! have been official selections at NYC Solocom.

His illustrations have been seen in the pages of Atomic Comics and Big Guy Comics. Chris is a playwright in residence for the A Collective Theater group, with whom he premiered his radio show War of the Worlds: Mosaic. Chris is also the host of the storytelling show Bar Tales and Blowhards.

Steve Cange was born to be a creative force. As a dreamer, storyteller, artist and sheer lover of the comic book medium, Steve has developed many talents over time. He has studied creative writing, graphic design and digital media and marketing.

However, it all comes down to one thing; Creativity. Some have accused him of taking on too much. The creative process is what makes him happy and drives his focus. He has helped to bring about so many creative projects on his journey and has now decided to clear his own path.
