Legacy Comix has reached their $5,000 stretch goal on Kickstarter Saturday night, doubling their initial ask of $2,500, just eight days into their campaign.
“We wanted to be different and we put the work in and people have responded,” Legacy Comix Editor-In-Chief Patrick Hickey Jr. said. “Excited is an understatement right now.”
With the 5K stretch goal attained, Legacy Comix will soon create a new reward tier for a trading card set that will feature the characters of their comics.
Pricing on the new tier will be revealed in the coming days, as will an announcement on new stretch goals, Hickey confirmed.
“We couldn’t be the type of company we wanted to be unless we were going to go big or go home,” Legacy Comix Chief Creative Officer John Svedese said. “Having a trading card set like this is another great way to connect with our amazing readers.”
