Legacy Comix Names Afrim Gjonbalaj Senior Editor
Legacy Comix is proud to announce that The Legend of the Night Owl creator Afrim Gjonbalaj has been named as the company’s new Senior Editor.
Helping to oversee the brand’s editorial integrity and continuing to build third-party relationships, Gjonbalaj’s work ethic and attention to detail have endeared him to the Legacy team.
“Afrim is an amazing self-starter,” Legacy Comix Owner Patrick Hickey Jr. said. “His ability to work with the team and help develop everyone’s brands has made him an integral part of the imprint.”
Gjonbalaj, known for his work outside of comics on properties such as Netflix’s Daredevil, is excited about additional responsibilities with the Legacy brand.
“At Legacy Comix hard work and loyalty truly pay off. I promote and treat everyone’s books with the same care as I would my own and I believe in helping hard workers accomplish their dreams,” Gjonbalaj said. “Legacy Comix fosters that same philosophy. I’m beyond excited to take on this role and will do my best under the old Brooklyn proverb of “Don’t talk about it, BE about it.”
